Become a DMPA Member

Darien Music Parents Association works closely with the DPS Director of Performing Arts as well as all classroom music teachers to ensure our programs enrich the music curriculum in all schools, ensembles and classrooms. Our efforts in fundraising, programming and scholarship benefits ALL Darien public school students grades K-12.

We ask that each family consider contributing $25 per year in efforts to keep our program running. Your membership dues will cover the costs of bringing in guest clinicians, performance opportunities, social gatherings, supporting young composers and giving summer and college scholarships.

Alternatively, please "Subscribe" to keep informed about DMPA activities.
Financial Support
We also ask that parents volunteer to help foster some of these enrichment opportunities. This could include: being a DMPA representative for your school, being a house manager for concerts, securing ads and/or sponsors, organizing pizza for dress rehearsals, fundraising, providing snacks for after school programs, organizing scholarships or chaperoning.

Volunteer
Please help spread the word! There are so many musical families in our town and every child in Darien receives a musical education, but not everyone knows who we are or what we do. Help us offer musical opportunities to our students and community!
